ILLUSTRATIONS OF THE INSTALLATION OF THE SECURITY SYSTEM
IN MERCEDES-BENZ
We installed the VAM security system in a Mercedes vehicle as follows. Based on the owners wishes and the location of individual dashboard elements, we determined the ideal location for the fixed part of the VAM system. We then removed the dashboard and began the installation of the anti-theft security system in the Mercedes vehicle. We gradually connected the shift, fuel supply, engine, transmission, speed sensor and switch cabinets to the fixed part of the VAM system.
Once the installation was complete, we tested the functionality of the security system and carried out minor final adjustments. After three hours, the Mercedes vehicle was 100% secured against theft, thanks to the combined electronic and mechanical VAM system.
